• Daria Lashkevich from Accenture will give a talk on “Computer vision challenges in real life”.
  We are glad to share our experience with which technics and which challenges we faced we are using in our computer vision projects for object detection and classification, image segmentation. Which technics we are using to collect our data and make them clear. Also We are talking about not standard computer vision approaches and data for them.

• Antons Mislēvičs from C.T.Co will give a talk on “So you want to be a Machine Learning engineer in the age of Generative AI and Large Language Models?“.
  ChatGPT was released in the end of 2022 and immediately grasped a lot of attention. People started discussing what “magical” things it can do, how it is the first AI that “understands” our world, and that soon it will leave many people without their jobs. It quickly went even to extremes, that such technology is dangerous, and should be banned or controlled by governments. In this session we will analyze what of this is hype and what is real. We will look into what the technology behind ChatGPT is (Large Language Models, Generative AI), and how such AI models are being trained. This will help us to better understand what such models can do, what are some common problems, and what you should be aware of when introducing such models in your projects. In addition, we plan to discuss what the raise of Generative AI and Large Language Models means for Machine Learning engineers – what are the core challenges, and some foundational technologies/concepts you should be familiar with.

  In my presentation, I’ll share insights from my practical experience in developing a design system, highlighting the crucial role of design tokens. I’ll delve into how these tokens facilitate consistent design implementation and effective communication with fellow designers. Throughout the session, I’ll discuss the tangible benefits I’ve observed using design tokens, as well as the real challenges I encountered during the process.

We deploy some architectures and see how to evolve to the next one. The attendees will learn how to migrate from single instance to High Availability with Data Recovery across Data Centers with the minimal application downtime.
  The session covers the new MySQL Solutions like InnoDB ReplicaSet, InnoDB Cluster, and InnoDB ClusterSet. Attendees will get familiar with the MySQL Shell Admin API and MySQL Router.
