This time DevClub.lv again will be held at The Mill (Brivibas iela 33 (entrance from Brivibas street))
On XXIV DevClub.lv:
- Janis Koselevs from Accenture Latvia will talk about Introduction to UX
This talk is more philosophical – lately we hear a lot of talks about UX (it’s now hot topic), but what really is UX, why it’s important and why we should pay more attention to it? Also, UX is not only UI. It’s much more that that – have you ever thought that your backend developer (or even secretary) are doing more good/bad UX to your company or product that you designer does?
So I will talk about what is UX, UX history, basics of good UX and why UX is important, and a little bit how to sell UX.

How to be successful in product development from the very first day? I will share with you my last years experience about some good examples, where teams instead of 4-5 months of solely preparation of specs, managed to spend 2 days with stakeholders at collaboratively creating product charter and as a results launched live version of the product in 2,5 months. We had a lot of a-ha moments and many innovation ideas where sprinkling around due to this approach.I will show photos from these 2 days (and other workshops), we will go through the whole process and I will answer your questions on the go.
