- Dita Gabalina from the State Education Development Agency will give a talk about “APEX technological capabilities and good practices”.
Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX) is a low-code solution development platform designed to quickly build and deploy scalable and secure web applications using only a web browser. In this presentation, Dita will discuss Oracle Application Express’s possibilities, the experience of using it in practical projects, and the difference between developing a solution with other technologies.

Dita is an IT expert with more than 30 years of experience. She specializes in the architecture, integration, development and maintenance of information systems. Dita has played a leading role in several publicly significant projects, including the creation of the ARKA2020 and ENER monitoring information system, making a significant contribution to the digital infrastructure of the public sector. Dita holds a Master’s in Computer Science and CISA, CISM, CGEIT and PMP certifications. Currently, Dita maintains the adult education system at the State Education Development Agency and advises on IT management and strategy issues.
- Aigars Macins from Emergn will give a talk on “Experience with selecting and implementing Intelligent Automation platforms for multinational enterprises.”
During this talk, he will share various considerations that Leaders need to take into account when selecting automation platforms; case study reviews and platform comparisons will be based on highly regulated financial institutions and companies that will provide field service solutions for cruise ships.
At the technical level, he will examine both Cloud / Hybrid / “On-Premises / Edge” deployment strategies and the lessons learned from adopting these solutions. Technologies in focus are Mendix and PowerPlatform. He will also briefly examine the tradeoffs between these two low-code development platforms.

RPA can automate processes across various systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. UIPath, a leading RPA platform, incorporates low-code capabilities, making it accessible to both technical and non-technical users. With its user-friendly, drag-and-drop interface, UIPath simplifies the creation of automation workflows. I will share specific success stories demonstrating the impact of LCNC and RPA integration on business operations, highlighting how UIPath has been instrumental in these transformations.
In this talk, I plan to demonstrate the methods provided by UIPath for empowering and educating business users to automate their daily routine tasks, making automation more accessible and fostering a culture of innovation within organizations.
