- Natalja Andrejeva and Aivis Jansauskis from Emergn will deliver a talk on “The Power of Design Systems“.
The agenda covers the definition of design systems, their pivotal role in overcoming challenges faced by product teams, and the impact of design tokens in ensuring a cohesive visual language, reducing time for feature development, rebranding, and measuring accessibility. Sharing insights from industry giants, the presentation underscores how well-crafted design systems accelerate product development cycles and foster collaboration.
As the culmination of this exploration, the audience will see a demo of Emergn’s very own Infinity Design System, showcasing its efficiency and collaborative process in action.

Natalja Andrejeva is a product designer at Emergn, helping to build the design system. With over ten years of experience as a graphic and UI designer, she’s worked with big-name companies and brands.
Aivis Jansauskis has over ten years of experience in leading technology and development positions. Successfully led cross-functional teams to deliver complex engagements on time and within budget. Known for establishing best practices, coding standards, and streamlined workflows by ensuring that projects meet technical excellence and exceed user expectations.
- Jānis Cimbulis from IF Insurance will give a talk on “Design system and tokens”.
In my presentation, I’ll share insights from my practical experience in developing a design system, highlighting the crucial role of design tokens. I’ll delve into how these tokens facilitate consistent design implementation and effective communication with fellow designers. Throughout the session, I’ll discuss the tangible benefits I’ve observed using design tokens, as well as the real challenges I encountered during the process.

Jānis is a frontend developer who has had experience with various frontend frameworks (Angular, Vue, React and lately – Lit). He is passionate about improving DX within the current company he works in – closely cooperating with fellow developers and designers.
- Sergejs Skusovs from ZZ dats will tell the story about how LX makes developers’ lives easier and what it took to come this far.
Its main goal is to provide an easy-to-use components library to make building the front-end as easy as possible while maintaining a certain level of freedom for designers and maintaining good UX across the entire app.
